Questek Research & Development Corporation was incorporated in 1986 by its two founders Rick Slamka and Andy Donham. The company was originally formed to allow the principals to participate in several technology ventures. The company quickly grew into a diversified high tech consulting firm. Today Questek is located across British Columbia with offices in Kelowna and Vancouver.

After graduating from UBC with a degree in physics, Mr. Donham started Questek with Mr. Slamka while working at several startup ventures with him. Later Mr. Donham worked at SFU where he continued collaborating with various individuals in high tech projects. Eventually Mr. Donham began working for Questek full time.
Rick Slamka
Co-founder
Mr. Slamka is a graduate of the Engineering Physics Program at UBC with an emphasis on electrical engineering. He has authored several patents and worked with a wide variety of technology firms. He is a registered member of the APEGBC(P.Eng). Mr. Slamka is also a principle owner in an estate winery in Kelowna.
